Luc Fierens(Belgium °1961) Since 1984 , collagist provocateur researching the relation between word & image.Makes connections and projects within independent networks : mail-art, visual poetry, etc.
Now he continues his research with artists/poets. In the past with Shozo Shimamoto, Ben Vautier, Ken Friedman etc from his “social architecture”
with whom he exchanges, forwards, and directs art, and collaborative projects through the (e-)mail, and with whom he organizes associated meetings, performances, publications and exhibitions.
He exhibits internationally and had his retrospective in 2019 at Fondazione Berardelli ( Brescia) Italy
His artist’publications (Postfluxpost) have been acquired by major archives (R.&M.Sackner Archive ), libraries (MoMa Library , Rare Books coll. University of Buffalo and museums : MaRT (Trento eRovereto) -Italy,
KaNAM Karuizawa (Japan) etc and various private collections (Fondazione Berardelli Brescia, Collezione Palli,Prato (Italy) and Verbeke Foundation (B)).
